I've seen the midwest, southwest khukri khonventions in threads. Has there ever been one in New England? What goes on at these events, or daren't I ask?

And would anybody be interested in something like that up here?

I would be up for an East Coast or North East Konvention sometime. I might actually be able to attend. I can't host one though.

I'm just outside of Boston, so I'm down for a NEKKKC. I'm not in a good position to host one though, not at the moment. Hopefully moving over the next year, and I will look for a space worthy of such an event.

Shann,
Yes, there was a New England Khonvention back in 2001 IIRC.
MauiRob hosted the khonvention. It was in May and sort of cool and rainy on that day though. Rob and his wife were great hosts and all of the attendees had a great time! :D I would love to see another one up here in the woods of Maine. Around July or August would be perfect I think, giving the area a chance to get warm and dry. It is a thought at least. Now adays there have been enough khonventions that people have developed things that can be done to enjoy all of these cutting tools. Fun cutting demos and all sorts of informational classes and teaching. That is the cool thing. Combine that with meeting all of the great cantina people and you have a plan for good times!!

nice pics resulted from that one, AA.

Yep, we had a good time at the last NEKK :)

I'd be up for one---especially if its in Maine :D
