Howdy everyone!!!
I have been a proud Busse owner for the better part of 5 years! My AMS is part of my EDC and my CGBB13 has been on every camping/hiking/hunting/fishing trip I've been on since I've gotten it. Well my wife has decided she wants to join the party and get her first Busse! After much browsing of the forums, i think she's settled on trying to find a Scrapyard Mud Pup with the Res-C Mudder Grips. I have always loved those Res-C Mudder style grips so i was very happy with her choice! As much as i love SR101, I was hoping that there had been an offering of the Mud Pup in Infi at some point, still with the Res-c Mudder style grips? If not, it's still not a deal breaker! Whats most important to me is that she is happy with it! If I had to guess, i would bet she's just starting down the same path many of us are on which results in more Busse blades than I can rationally explain to my not knifey friends!
This knife will be part of her back country kit and be primarily used as a bush craft knife. As such, knowing the cumulative knowledge on this board about bush craft and Busse knives, I would love to hear any other suggestions we could look at that you might think warrant consideration! Only requirements would be it be Busse, preferably infi, and a similar or smaller size category to the Mud Pup.
