I haven't seen that model but that place is copying every popular knife they can get their hands on, pretty sad, hopefully someone can shut them down!

I just bought a Mr.Mojo and I know my knife is 100% but, it kinda really soured my grail score when I stumbled across this... :barf: Hopefully Mr.Busse see's this.

Igel: Not scrap... 52100 and 5160 steels... You can even see a Hamon on that one they have posted... A pretty good looking copy but Still makes my stomach sick!

I have seen one with black handles before out of china. They even tried to sell it as Infi, but on the blade was marked the correct generic stainless.

I emailed Jerry with a link to this thread.

I just used the search function and I see it has been addressed before. Sorry for bringing it up again but it really really really really makes me sick seeing this.

petah

Ok not a scrap

BUT

something makes me angry.

.......it is not worth our attention........

funny stuff . . . my fiance went to school in china for a year. while there she picked up Wushu KungFu and got quite good at it. part of her training was using a chinese style sword. when she left come home she packed one of those swords with her and the chinese officials confiscated it at the airport as she left. i guess they didn't want chinese swords leaving china without some kind of official documents or whatever. now they are stealing boss hog's designs! wtf?

Exactly, they steal everything

Busse , Crusader Forge, Strider ...........

And I think , you are buy this , you are help steal everything.

i am a chiniese, and i do not understand some manufaturers and makers to do this kind of copying plain stupid.

but , i think copying is a praise to the orgrinal maker , espceially when the copying number go vast .

It might be praise if the copier sought permission from the original maker as well as cut the maker in on a chunk of the profits... Otherwise it is an insult in my opinion. This is such a blatant rip that they dare to use the Busse name too.

What's interesting about this is that it is posted on a website called the Chinese Bladesmithing Association. One would think that they would discourage their members from copyright infringement. Unfortunately copying in China is such a way of life that they consider it normal business practice and they are even proud of it.

Igel: Not scrap... 52100 and 5160 steels... You can even see a Hamon on that one they have posted... A pretty good looking copy but Still makes my stomach sick!

If indeed this is a custom knife made from 52100 or 1095........How can you be sure? If it was made from a leaf spring and the maker claimed it was 52100 who is to know? And let's be honest, that is indeed a more likely scenario.

but , i think copying is a praise to the orgrinal maker , espceially when the copying number go vast .

Most makers find it insulting and a huge problem for them. Small manufacturers like Busse are now forced to prove what is their original quality product and what is a copy. This behavior is a thorn in the side of business and should be addressed harshly by the Chinese Trade Ministry.

Chinese Trade Ministry , uh ? you can email to them , and let them sentitive to your tender feeling .

actully , they are just a kind of unresponsive Bureaucracy seat in the Gorgeous office , and do not care about your feelings .

one more thing , the tanslate tool is suck here, do not think there is an Association named as "Chinese Bladesmithing Association" just a web site and the owner a Clown who just a fake goods dealer .
not every dealer or seller do this humiliatiing thing like him.
dingy

Since an email has been sent to Jerry about this thread and the link to these bogus Mojo's, I'm going to lock this thread to keep it from turning ugly as we all into Busse's won't be very happy over this. If Jerry & Crew wish to reopen it, they will do so later. :)

Before I do lock it down...These fake Mojo's have sold on the 'Bay before, so the message here is to be sure of what you're bidding on or buying before being disappointed. If the price is too good to be true...it usually is! ;)
