Hasiya often closely resemble the small hand-sickle / grass-hook
that I grew up with
Pretty basic 'universal' design to get the job done.
& I came across a quick reference translating 'hasiya' as 'smiling'
? Ms Yangdu ....... other meanings too ?

&
'hasya' at Nepali martial art site !

"In Budokai-do you also learn to perform with weapons.
Forms are taught with the Nepalese weapons: khukuri, trisul, khora, dhiki, hashya, latti"
