Well...I came home from work, wife is giving me the death stare, but of course, my eyes are on the 2 triangle boxes sitting on the table.

First one opened was the Bilton. It's a cute little thing, but I just love the combo antler/horn handle! Mine has no markings what so ever, I found it to be strange, but it was so cute, and my wife thought so too, so you know who has ownership of it now, right? It isn't me. Then, I open up the Hasiya, and man, is it a piece of work! I just like to hold it, it is a downright beautiful piece, and I was thinking what can I go cut? Lo and behold, I found a hand written x-mas card from auntie and one of those little khukuri pins, loved it, and guess what? So did the wife, she took that too!

As you can imagine, the wife kind of just let it go this time, since she got something (I mean took something). At least I got to keep the badass hasiya, so I guess it's all good in da hood.

OK, on to the pics:

Cool little pins these things are!

The hasiya blade!

Hasiya handle

The cool little charm dangling off the end of the handle

The hasiya just looking pretty!

Nice! Very cool cul, thanks for sharing :) yeah that bilton does look odd without markings but cute none the less :o glad your missus likes the bilton you totally bought for her ;)

Happy wife, happy knife, happy life...or however the saying goes :D

I got one of those Biltons also, sweet and well done little blade. I don't think they are often marked. I had one some time back a more plain handled one and as I recall it wasn't marked either.

I also got one of those nice Jola bags, had it a few days. Tonight I was showing it to my daughter and my wife was unzipping some of the many little pockets and lo and behold she found an envelope with one of those little pins as well.

It may have been lost to posterity had we not been having show and tell. Cool little pins and a great bag.

I do be needing a hasiya myself one of these days. Great looking setup for sure.

DTKM - I hope a happy wife will be so pre-occupied with her new Bilton, that she'll ignore the Crow and CR blades once they arrive.

Bawanna - I actually really like that Bilton, but I think it's going to live in the wifester's purse or car...:(

The pins are definately cool, need to figure out a way to get it back!

Man you made out well cul! She only took your Bilton. That is a fine looking Hasiya. I do like the Rhodo handle. They are pretty heavy duty arent they? I think they will be very useful blades in the garden. I hope my wife lets me play with hers:D She did say I could sharpen it and keep it in my collection...till she needs it:rolleyes:

They do feel very "heavy duty", I was admiring it for like 1/2 an hour last night watching tv...lol. I can't wait until I get a chance to use it. I got lucky, my wife is afraid of "big" blades, and the 14" hasiya is a little out of her comfort zone. At least, your wife will let you hold it, while you sharpen it, and while its in your collection, you can fondle it from time to time...:)

Great pix and post, thank you for sharing
