I found a couple hatchets at a local antique shop along with some blacksmithing tools.

First is a Plumb hatchet for $15 that looked to be in pretty good shape to me.

Next one says "Thomco" from the original sticker. Couldn't find much on it. $20

These blacksmithing tools had "NYCS" on the bottom and looked to be in good shape for around $20 each

Also this firemans axe with no markings for $25

Let me know if I should purchase any. I'm new to the vintage axe and tool scene.

Thanks!

I would probably get the plumb hatchet. Looks to be the same as some of the plumb boy scouts hatchets..which i quite like :)
not to take anything away from any of the other tools, but the hatchet appeals to me the most...and maybe the firemans axe..because I dont have one lol.

But the 2 pair of tongs hanging between the cross peen hammers and resale them to me.

Sent via telegraph with the same fingers I use to sip whiskey.

Looks like a nice chisel in that rack also. Don't be scared to haggle, especially if you want multiple items.

Not to sure on that Plumb. Looks like it might be one of those off shore ones. $15 bucks will get you a vintage one.

Neat hammers ! Despite their polish, good shape considering their age.
That ballpeen is extra interesting.

I think that Plumb is fine. Don't buy it to resell though. If you want a good hatchet it's a good deal. The $15 cleaned hammer looks like a bargain too.

I was pretty intrigued by them. I have had an interest in blacksmithing for some time now and this may be my gateway to that. This guys booth was full
