10 1/2" overall, with a cutting face of about 3 1/4", and will be 1/4" thick O1 steel. The ones I will be making will have a "straight from the forge" grey / black finish on them, not polished as shown. Only the spine around the hatchet and the cutting edge will be polished.

Available standard handles are:
tiger stripe maple
walnut
cocobolo (shown)
oak
zebrawood
rosewood
bloodwood
tulipwood
black micarta
red micarta
green micarta
brown micarta

Optional handles are:
ebony + $5.00
maroon micarta + $5.00

Standard pins are two 1/4" aluminum and lanyard hole
Optional pins are two 1/4" brass and lanyard hole + $3.00

Cost will be $130.00 shipped in USA, money orders only. Delivery will begin in mid March.

Now I`m glad I only bought enough material to make two. I kind of had a hunch that knives were more popular than axes (not so much grinding either).
 
OH!!! That red Micarta is just what my hatchet needs, If it's not to late to change from the maroon.
 
Yes that is the March order.:thumbup: What will it look like in the non polished version? March is my birthday. Time to leave some picture laying around where the wife can see them.:D
