And there's no urgency about getting edge-protectors on all of them, and plenty of room for more.
It's 19" wide with four rows for hatchets 18" apart.

Great idea, looking good. I had the same idea, using an old latter that I have in the garage. But you beat me to it. Yours is also wider than my latter. I just might have to steal it from you.....

Thanks. I fretted a bit about the stop-rungs, wanting to catch all the hatchets near the ends of their handles, but wound up making it simpler. The top row has a stop-rung 6" down, for the teeny ones, and the rest have it 8" down, which will catch all the others.

Man, you got a pile of hatchets there!

And cause no one else said it yet, NICE RACK!

Hubba hubba. Thanks. That's about half of them, which is why I needed the rack. The first 15 or so are on hooks in an attic closet, and there are a few more in the garage and shed. Once I get them all together I'll have a better idea what I don't need more of.

Can't beat the "nice rack " comment. :D. What a great idea. Have to find an old ladder now. What about a simple velcro strip that runs over the back of the heads as a safety lock arrangement.

That's a good idea. Especially for those with kids or pets, perhaps.
