Here is another hatchet, in "as forged" finish and black micarta. These are still one of my favorites.

It`s 5". I make them as long as the micarta slabs come.

Hey John, I'm a fan of these kinds of hatchets as well. Had Bryan Breeden make mine, though. I really wish it had the forge finish instead of satin, but it still works fine! Those kydex head covers look really cool, though, and I almost wish mine was that instead of leather.
