I`m sure a lot of you have some choppers you have found over the years, whether at flea markets, garage sales, junk shops, or just bought new. Lets see some pictures. I`ll post my favorites tomorrow, I`ve got to get ready to go to work now.

Here are a few. I have several others that I need to finish and hang.

I like modding the coldsteel line of hawks quite a bit

and this old boyscout hatchet is an old friend to

I probably get the most use out of the JK belt hawk though, ti sits by the wood pile especially through the winter, and it's a good friend on short hikes to

My two bigger choppers (that don't need finishing and handling) sit in the work shed most of the year and only hang out in the wood building during the winter, nothing overly special accept one was a gift form my father in law and the other one (single bit) is a little older (I like old knives and axes) and cuts like a demon.

I don't have a better picture of them right now, the one in the middle here s pretty special to em as well, it was hand forged by a friend (kind of which my help, I'm the reason it doesn't look perfect in other words) while I worked as a living historian

I have 2 nice old choppers that I found at different times.

I found my little Kelly Works Demon stuck in a tree with a broken handle back in 93 at a camp site.

And this Riggers axe head was in an old tool box at the new/old job and the boss said I could have it.(pre layoff/rehire days)
It is a Vaughn and Bushnell I just found out today on the Axe forum.

I always wanted a fireman's axe, just thought they were cool looking. I found this one about 15yrs. ago with a broken handle wedged behind some conduit. I clean of the surface rust and put a new handle on it. Now I need to figure out how to get a really nice finish on it.
