I'm looking for any info I can get on the Carlos Hathcock USMC Commemorative Knife. I guess what I really want to know was when they were produced and what the value would be.
Thanks,
Troy

Troy,
That commemorative was done for one of our distributors, BLUE RIDGE KNIVES. I don't remember the exact dates, but it was sometime in the late '80's. I don't know what the approx. value would be, but I'll see if we can get Tom Williams to look into it. Thanks for the interest.

Camillus made the Gy. Sgt. Carlos N. Hathcock II commemorative knife in 1991.
A total of 500 knives were produced. Known
as model #1009CH, this knife featured a 7"
blade that was etched "ONE SHOT - ONE KILL"
and was tang stamped "U.S.M.C.". Each knife
was packed in a special box and included a
black leather sheath. Initially these knives
retailed for $100 each and strong demand on
the collector market has caused these knives
to appreciate to $200.

Thanks Will and Tom,
I appreciate all of the info. Do you know where I might find one

? I don't recall ever seeing one for sale here or anywhere else for that matter.

bfett,
With only 500 made, almost 10 years ago, I would have no idea where to start looking. I'm pretty sure that BLUE RIDGE no longer has any. If we hear of any, I'll post something here on the CAMILLUS forum.

Thanks for the interest!
