Wow...
I asked in this forum recently about some guidance about selecting my first knife.
I received much information from many members of this forum and a generous offer from Dwayne to visit his shop and put my grubby paws on some of his collection.
I took him up on his offer and got to spend an hour with Dwayne and Stacy at the bench looking over his amazing collection.
Got to hold the Ratmandu, which is my first choice for a "big" knife, and his active duty and Hairy Carry, one of which are in my future. Also got to see several Busse in INFI steel, which are truly something to behold.
He was also kind enough to let me handle several of his sheaths and pouches. The work on those is absolutely top notch. I have become a bit of a leather snob these days it seems, and have recently acquired several holsters and belts from Milt Sparks and Lou Alessi. Dwayne is every bit the artisian those crews are.
The bad news is that it seems I have discovered that there aren't any swamp rat knives that I don't like, and that "unfortunately" I am going to have to get my name on the list for the next run of whatever.
I great big thank you to Dwayne and Stacy! You guys are a true asset to the knife community as a whole, and certainly to this forum and collectors of Busse knives.
