The knife design RIPOFFS had to have been at their all time high this past weekend at the SHOT Show  Seeing it in person, all that's involved and the extent at which it happens is just plain sickening :barf:

I'm not sure exactly what all happened but I will say that Mike spent a good part of his time at the Show tracking down and dealing (quite aggressively I might add) with several of the players in the knife design RIPOFF game!!!

I would like to take this opportunity to publically thank Mike for his hard work and determination at the SHOT Show!!

I'm hoping Mike will soon post a thread in this regard, mentioning all that were involved, details etc.

Thats great to hear. Im interested to see who the latest ones are so I can be sure and avoid anything from them.

You can always tell those that have integrity and those that don't. We all know in which camp Mike resides. It really is getting sickening to see all the knife manufacturers that have no imagination of their own and have to resort to stealing the designs of others.

The full story will come out soon when I write a complete post but you can bet your ass that both Master Cutlery and Joy Enterprizes have never seen anyone do what I did this past weekend.

I will NEVER go to a show where knock offs of my design, or those under the BOSS lable, are displayed and do nothing. And I ain't done yet. The BOSS line was delayed just so I could get past this weekend and make a better informed decision. More news later and even a pics of one knock off queen trying to hide the evidense. Ahh poetic justice served!

BTW There are things that we CAN do to help fight the knock offs and you guys can actually play a part.

Get ready for some fun, more news later :D

Cool. :) I was waiting for someone to teach those stealing scumbags to use their scheming minds to make their own designs.

Someone should've followed Mike around with a video camera. I'd love to see video footage!

I wonder what would happen if people wrote to the magazines that carry their ads, and said look, by accepting their ads your supporting disonesty, and taking a stand against legitimate and domestic manufacturers.

Heh, since magazines are Ho's for ad dollars that probably wouldn't work too well.

That's great, way to stand up for yourself. I'm looking forward to hearing the whole story from you Mike.

This is a thread I'm very much looking forward to seeing and reading, Mike.
You are to be applauded for your stand and I hope that SOMEONE got it all on tape.
That would be quite enjoyable to see the knock-off makers scurrying to hide the evidence as you descended on them and the looks on their faces as they were publicly taken to task. LMAO!!:D :D :D

This is something that was long overdue in coming.

I was fortunate to be standing in a booth next to Mike at the Shot Show this weekend, and was a reciepient of one of the copies of his pictures. When he gets it posted, it will make your day!

BTW, Mike it was nice to meet you and hope that you had a good show. Even with our crappy display, we had a good amount of interest.

I hope Mike has some time to throw in some details on a new post. I am looking forward to hearing whats going on:)
