Oooooohhh, very very nice!!!! You know, if you ever become famous, when you pass, this will be in a museum somewhere.... So, get to doing something that makes you famous! lol! ;)

Now that's COOL ;) whats the back story on the Initials ??? or were they by special request?

Gary, I ordered the knife directly from Fontenille-Pataud. There was field on the order form called "engraving". After taking a look at an example I decided to go for it. I sure like the way it came out.

I'll say! Very nice indeed, a cut above regular 'engraving.' Pun intended.

("You know why it's a brilliant manipulation of negative space?" :D)

Congrats on an excellent addition.

Outstanding job looks like to me! some closeups are in order ;)

This is about the best my meager photography skills can do with a close-up. There are some gaps between the liners and the backspring that are visible when you hold the knife up to the light. It's OK because if you turn the knife just right and squint your mind, you can see the Champs-Elysées in Paris through to one on top and the nude beach at Côte d'Argent in the South of France through the gap on the bottom.:D
