Traveled down to Lewisburg PA for the annual knife show held
at the Country Cupboard, smaller than the previous years but
always a nice day to visit folks and talk about knives.
Here are three knives I ended up with from today's visit
the first one is kind of unique, take a looksee;

the person I bought it from had a sheath with a pocket clip added
to the sale, handy...
Here's a shot of the knife in the sheath

Here it is pulled out, strange eh?

and with the blade fully opened;
full handle with a small wood carving blade, haven't seen a folder
quite like it, had D2 steel as well !

Next up is from Robert Klaas, Soligen Germany
very nice walk and talk on this one and the blades are ground down
nice and thin too, good cutter!

and last but not least, as I was walking out of the show,
the knife is by Jim Serven, very small folder with a liner lock mech.

and a shot showing some scale to all three knives, not large ones
by any means, but a handy size

Fantastic way to spend the day - I'm jealous! Great find on all the knives, but the first one seems like great fun!

Thanks guys and yes, was a nice way to spend part of the day.

And that first one, I've not seen the likes of it before, it's not on the
Queen's knife site, must be an old model?

The other two are also slick, but the old fashion stag one has a nice
size blade, but I like all three :)

edited to add

The “PH” in “PH-D2” stands for “Peters Heat Treat”, the company that HTs Queen’s blades.

Also met several knife makers there, one guy stood out in my eyes
Name is Kirby Bletcher, amazing workmanship in knife fit and finish
and also an amazing engraver!

See his web page Here

A sweet haul to be sure Gary.. Now, which one of those slippies has the honors of being the first to get a custom G-2 sheath to live inside of?.

That Queen was a special factory order from a few years ago. Queen introduced the D2 in 2002 so that is the earliest that it could have been made. I forget who they made it for...a wood carving supply house I think...but it was made in a number of different handle materials.

A fine days collection and one worth sharing for sure, thanks for taking the time to show us...I am very interested in the special factory order from Queen, what a great looking knife and one I have never seen before.

If you ever decide to sell it let me know, any knife in D2 is a friend of mine..:) Thanks knifeaholic for the great information..

That is good to know for sure, thanks guys, down in Clearwater now, brought a few
with me but not the Queen, my plans for that are with the leather working stuff
but we shall see!

G2

forgot to mention, the Queen has it's own little sheath, the Jim Serven folder a soft cloth
sheath, so the first to get a slip sheath was the Klaas, just a very soft elk skin slip sheath
just to keep it from dings and things in the pocket, it's a small knife, but boy, it's nice! ;)

Nice haul, G2!
Queen, being one of the shrinking number of places to get a small SFO done, has done a few different carving knives. They use existing handle patterns, with custom blades. A canoe is good for two bladers, because of the sunk joints, and the locker speaks for itself! Here are three commissioned by Ross Oar;

Thanks pretty cool line there!

Thanks and yes, well, the knife needed sharpening and is now much sharper!
as are the other two. The images were taken upon arriving at home before
any sharpening was done.

As timing would have it, this one made it into sheathdom (is that a word? ;))

While I was worried that there wasn't enough contour for it to be retained
well enough, it turned out that the butt of the knife was bigger than the
bolster area and so it snaps into place better than most knives would!

Handy, barely fits on the belt, blade measures in at 1 7/8" so you know it's
not too big but boy does she cut!

Thanks for sharing your "newest" haul! Great knives & photos!
Love your sheath G2!

Might have to add "sheathdom" to the knife terminology sticky.:)

Great little sheath on that knife Gary, I like the look of the darker leather with those scales for some reason. Very classy look.
