Ghostsix has a lot to teach. The antisocial or asocial behavior (mostly in other forums) was distressing. Nevertheless, I too miss him.

I, too, miss the ghost. Though he was sometimes overly outspoken, to put it mildly, he certainly added a certain zest to the forum.
 
I've been out of town the past week on a hunting trip. So I don't know..... where did Ghostsix go to?? Don't LOL.

Everyone has information to share. No one offends me, and I hope I don't offend others.
Some like sugar in their coffee, others like it black, some prefer tea...... give me a cold Diet Coke....LOL.

Ghost had the ability and tendency to liven things up. He was also very outspoken and this offended some people.

I miss the zest he put into the forum but I guess he stepped over the line in other forums and got put on hold.

I keep finding more and threads where people are still talking about him, and I'm saying, hey, people, do we really want to talk about a guy where he can't post a response, and is there any point in talking any more about a guy who won't be bothering you any more? This thread is different, though.

I often enjoyed reading his posts, too, but ... he posted a lot of stuff in other forums in the last couple of weeks that violated the rules of this website and upset a lot of people. People talked to him about that; the administrators warned him; it ended up he simultaneously quit and was kicked out.

It was his choice to leave. I wish he had chosen differently but that was his choice to make. It's done now.

If you want to know the gory details you can search ... the way the software is set up now you have to search each forum individually; you can't cover the whole website with one search any more, so it would take a while; he posted in a considerable number of forums in the last couple of weeks.

Well, what happened was a shame for sure. However, a few of us have heard from him more recently in EMail, Bill and Yvsa know what I'm talking about.

Let's just say...he wasn't a happy camper.

However, lest anyone think Mike and Spark were too harsh, the following might help clear the air there:

Thanks for that overview, Jim. Well written, succinct, evenhanded assessment of what regretably ocurred.

I hate being a pooper but ghost is not new to me. He punked me on KFC a long time ago. I've learned to avoid any topic with him in it, our views being a bit different.

Part of Cougar's post strongly bears repeating, critizing Ghostsix's actions in a forum that he cannot defend himself is very bad form, as is discussing email in public without the senders consent.

I will say one thing regarding the affair, judging the actions of someone who has experienced what you have not is problematic to say the least, the more extreme the experience the worse your conclusions are likely to be.
