Have any of you ever owned or used a havalon knife. They have a replaceable blade like a medical scapula. What do you think about them or do you like them. Thanks

Yup. I had the stainless one. I gave it to my father.
We do alot of hunting and trapping so it's perfect.
The blades are STUPID SHARP.
But the only problem is that they're thin. Ive had them snap in half just whittling.
If you hunt, trap, or fish, this is a great knife for the "dirty work".
For EDC? You'll break the knife blade.
Fit and finish is better than expected too.
Its not like Kershaw standards, but more than acceptable.

This isn't the first time I've heard this. I'd be concerned about snapping and losing part of the blade in the game. Let's say while running the blade across bone or something. Since you've handled one, would this be a concern of yours, Bladeboss?

Not really. While they are thin and snap, they do still bend a bit.
