Both my Delica 4 and Endura 4 pocket clips were loose and required loc-tite and re-tightening. Neither has seen a lot of pocket time yet, so I would suspect they were loose out of the box, although I never checked this, didn't think I needed to. The screws are size 6 Torx.

Just before the A'dam show, I got my Delica 4. I decided to carry it, but I noticed that my clip was very loose from the factory. I removed the clip and bended(?) it just a fraction to make it a little tighter. When I wanted to put the clip back on, none of the screws would catch anymore, not even a bit. Pissed as I was:mad: , I put the knife in my back pocket and showed it to Sal. He took it rather high and offered my a new one which is still in the works:grumpy:

After this incident however, I don't know if I can trust those clips anymore, especially after reading of similar problems of other users.

But we'll see when I have it;)

I got a D4 about a month ago -- I immediately checked all the screws with my Torx bits, and all were tight, including the clip. Nothing has come loose at all since then. Sorry to hear about your clip problems!

I know a guy who makes wallets and silver jewelry. He puts silver accents on wallets as well. Some screw on. I asked about what I should put on a particular piece if I may want to remove it once in a while. He recommended Elmer's glue. It will keep the piece from falling off, but the adhesive is weak enough that it can be removed anytime.

No problems for me either. Mine were tight out of the box and I swapped the clips to lefty on two of my D4's. The third one is still NIB, but the clip seems fine on that one.
