As you all know, I purchased my 2 a little while ago and have added a Tek Lok to it.

What I'd like to add now is the ESEE Accessory Pouch (if I can find one here in Germany) but, I haven't been able to find the size of the damn thing anywhere!!

Since I'd like to store my firesteel (Light my Fire Army one), sharpening stone and a small flashlight in it, I'd really appreciate if someone, who has one, could measure the inside of their pouch and post the measurements here.

Thanks brethren!

The ESEE pouch, will hold an Altoids tin, emergency blanket, Hood's folding saw, and 50' of paracord. What you want to put in it, should leave you some room.

Lemme know if you have any problems finding one over there, I'll talk to Jeff and see if he know of anyone selling them, in Europe.

Well, I finally received my ESEE pouch today and I'm a bit disappointed!

As you can see from my pics, I have my firesteel, flashlight and stone in the pouch and there's no way in hell that anything else can be squeezed in there!

Until I got the pouch, I had an old flashbang grenade pouch lashed to it and that seems more useful, size wise! I had all the above mentioned contents plus, a Ziploc bag, 30' feet of paracord and a mylar blanket!

The bottom screws, of the pouch, do not line up with the holes on the sheath (I have a 2nd gen. sheath) but that's easily remedied by lashing paracord behind the sheath and securing the last 2 holes with it.

All in all, I wish Becker would make a pouch for their stuff! :(

Why don't you just use a ceramic crock stick for field sharpening instead of that large stone. Using such a crock stick, I can even keep D2 steel razor sharp.

That stone is is less than an inch across and less than 2 inches long, not large by any means. ;)

Interesting. This is what I keep in mine. How big is that light? The Fenix PD is a small powerful light, just a suggestion.

The light is about an inch wide.

Here's a shot looking down at the pouch.

Your pouch looks different, Moose!

That's the difference. The gen one esee SHEATH with pouch holds ALOT of stuff. The gen two esee accessory pouch that attaches to their kydex does not.

Son of a bitch! :(

Thanks for the info bro'!

No prob. There are popular auction sites that sell the gen one sheath. a stripped bk2 will fit snug, while a coated one will not fit. just an fyi if you were thinking about it. Or if you wanted to keep the pouch you have, you can send it to Azwelke and he will make a bk2 kydex that the holes will line up for.

I have the Esee 5 sheath for my bk2. Mine fits with the coating still on. All I had to do was put some tape on the flat portion of the bk2 to give it some wiggle room afterwards. Remove the plastic liner in the sheath and put it in boiling water to make it more flexable. Shove your bk2 in with tape on and let it cool. Works great.

Lecter, try to put your sharpening stone between you sheath and pouch. A ranger band around the sheath should hold it in place, then use 550 cord looped through the eyelets and a cordlock will hold the pouch on. Worked for me before I got the Esee 5 sheath.

Anymore questions jsut ask!

I think for a PSK you could downsize your stuff quite a bit.

My sharpening stone (same as yours, but without the "sheath"), some bandaids, a little flashlight, some fatwood and a repair kit with some waxed thread, 2 needles, 2 safety pins, a piece of inner tube and some duct tape fit into a 5.11 pistol mag pouch, and I could still attach some stuff to the outside of that pouch. I also have my firesteel on the sheath.

Your knife PSK doesn't need a full-size flashlight, it is meant as a backup / last ditch option.

Heard bad things about the 1st gen. sheath and will be hitting up Azwelke pretty soon I think...I don't really have a problem with the sheath so far.

That sounds like a great idea, thanks!

Do you have some pics of you setup?

that is one huge ass flashlight :D a fenix or jetbeam or something that runs on ONE AA lithium battery for best utility... or a "lithium coin cell" flashlight of some variety (the kind you can replace batteries is a bonus: princetontech, photon, or others)... heck, even with an AA light, you could carry a backup battery too, and still more more room. perhaps a "swiss light" or "free light" (google those). jetbeam makes some nice stuff - google them :) discounts can be had if you're clever or lucky. shop around.

life is too short for bad flashlights. many options.

a small headlamp would be VERY useful in a PSK.

otherwise, i'd suggest lashing your knife to a maxpedition vulture II and stuff that :) heh :> little bulky as a thigh rig, so i'd start doing squats :)

I have a PSK that I keep in my pants pocket when out and about, which I keep in a MOLLE II pocket medic pouch so that's not an issue.

I liked the flashlight because it's really bright, I have a few MagLite Solitaire's lying around but they don't cut it.

I was hoping that I could fit the very basics into the pouch i.e. fire, shelter, water.

I just thought that the pouch was bigger.

Thanks.
