Thomas, Tim, and the rest of the Kershaw Crew,
hope you all have a great Blade show.

We all can't wait to see what you've got up your collective sleeves.

You are at the show, right Thomas?

Can't believe Craig is missing it to be in France, sheesh.

Craig is back, and we are all going to be at the show. I'm not sure how much time I will have to talk with you all this weekend, but I'll do my best to give you a report (yea I know, the report will be worthless without pic's).:D

Lucky, lucky you. You get to go, and it's part of your job!

P.S. Have my emails been getting through?

So you'll be taking a digital camera, right?

Well I missed my flight and my connector, so I have some time till the next flight. Been a tough day so far. Here is hoping the show is better than my travels.

Well it seems there was this semi that turned over and closed the freeway going to the airport. Took me 2 1/2 hours, and I finally arrived (missing my flight of course). Caught the next flight to Denver, missing my connector along with the rest of the Kershaw team by 5 minutes. I watched them take off. So now I'm held over for 6 hours till the next flight!!!

I'm currently cuddled up to a bloody mary and my laptop.

Wow, sorry you missed your flight, that sucks.
At least the rest of your team made it. Too bad someone couldn't video chat you in at the dinner.

I had a business trip to Tennesee once, where my flight was delayed, got off the ground, flew for a while, had a mechanical and had to return to Miami. The problem couldn't be fixed so they cancelled the flight. The only other direct flight was overbooked so they gave me a flight to Orlando, to catch a flight from there. Had a two hour layover in Orlando. Plane got in late. We boarded, a huge storm rolled in. All flight operations were halted. They made us stay on the plane through the storm. You could watch the lightning hitting all over the airport. The plane was bouncing around enough you would have thought it actually was in the air. We sat like that for a couple of hours. I finally made it to Tenn. sometime after midnight. That was one of the longer days I've had flying.

I feel ya man! I got a sixer of cold Shiner for you! Make that four...

I flew to Ohio two weeks ago, drove to Lubbock last week, flew to Milwaukee Sunday morning, drove to Tulsa yesterday, finally home tomorrow!!! I hate traveling! I feel like a knife salesman!:D

I have also decided that I can drive almost anywhere faster than American Airlines could get me there and off the plane. For example, one of our technicians drove from Birmingham to Milwaukee in 11 hours. I left my home in DFW at 9:30 to catch an AA flight departing at 11:30am. Well of course the arriving flight is delayed by an hour, so its about 12:15am when my plane arrives at the departure gate; then we board and taxi to the runway---and wait....at 12:40 we take off. Then the flight is about 3.5 hours because of TERRIBLE weather over Chicago. So at 4:00 we land in Milwaukee. I said LAND, not debark. We get to sit on the plane for about an hour before we can get to a free gate because the weather has cought up to us and all the gates are full of planes that are delayed. I finally run out of the plane at 5:00PM swearing that I will never fly American Airlines again!!! After waiting 20 minutes for my bag, I then have to wait in line to rent a car and drive to my hotel, at which I arrive at 6:30. It took me 9 hours to get from home to hotel by flying, thus saving me 2 of the most miserable hours of my life. My technician got to drive at 75 MPH, listening to all the loud music he wanted, take a leak when he wanted, stop and get out/eat/drink when he wanted...

And it cost him less $ in gas than my flight cost. And he could carry his knife wherever he wanted! Why do we fly anywhere?

Well I finally got to the hotel at 1:30 this morning.:o

Ken O, Tim Galyean, and Lee Williams were all still up. We yucked it up for a few hours, showed some knives. Had a great time. Got to bed at 4:00am, and yet here I am for you all first thing this morning.;)

Show starts this afternoon, I'm pumped!!!!

Wow, you think you have it good, I get to go hang sheetrock ! Not even time to fondle a few knives. Hope you guys have a great day !

Thomas, glad you and the team made it there safely. With the team you have assembled, I don't see how you can have anything but a great show. Hope you bring in some big new sales and accounts. We'll all be looking forward to all the new stuff you'll announce!

I know that Ken O doesn't really have the time, but now that you have a dedicated forum maybe you could invite him and Lee to drop in once in a while. I'd guess that everyone here would welcome their input as much as we welcome Tim's.

Any word on how day 1 of the show went?

Y'all must be exhausted.

Love the new Tyrade (or is it Tirade)?

Well we all made it home around 2:00 AM this morning :) (hey at least I made my flights back).

TSA stole a couple blades from me again. I am afraid to go through my proto bag, I was just too tired when I got home.  So far just 2 NIB ZDP Cyclones! :grumpy:

I'll respond to some show questions once I get up and back in the office.

You know I gave all the fella's a bit of a hard time, Ken, Lee, RJ, and Gavin. Hopefully we will see them drop in from time to time.

Update: Checked the proto bag, all seems in order their at least.
