What are you all up to?

I bet you guys can guess what's going on here... lots of knives! :cool: I'll do a brief update next, I have been busy.
 
Im in a warehouse the size of a city block doing a Saturday server install. :/
 
Drugs... All kinds. :D

Lots of thumb typing too! Lol... Sigh.

Pretty damn exciting, I know. On the bright side, I'll do some bird watching from the back... And uhm wait.

Ask us all this question again in a month. :D

Hope most everyone is enjoying the heat :) and family/friends with a knife.
 
Working, and not upset over it today, either. Its gonna be hot, forecast is for 108* :eek: I'm glad to be here using the AC at work. Nasty hot.

Yesterday was about 100-102. But it supposed to drop back into the 80's by Tuesday o_0

We saw some male Red-winged Blackbirds defending their cat-tails here the other day, it was cool!

Heat? We just have cold here, lol!! We just put out our tomatoes and one died from the cold, lol.

I did some grilling/smoking yesterday and brined then marinated some chicken too... more grilling! I'm using mesquite...

Smoking! Liquid asphalt I bet...

When it gets really hot here I go for a drive, lol no A/C in the house. We don't really need one... I get lucky this time of year then pay in the Winter!
 
Too cold for tomatoes still?! I'm already harvesting squash and cucumber, pear tomatoes are about ready to turn color, bell peppers are getting big, broccoli is 18" tall and carrots should be ready in a couple weeks! Heirloom tomatoes still haven't begun to fruit yet, not sure why, but they're taller than Brandi now, lol!

Yeah, no motorcycles in the parking lot, they just fall over from the kickstand sinking!

I give up on the garden! I'm way into that stuff too, had literally hundreds of tropical plants and a bunch of huge orchids when I moved here... my place is on the north face so we do not get very much sunlight. It's an odd spot, a neighbor literally in sight of my place has over 100 raised beds. He's on the south side of the valley, it's probably 20 degrees hotter there right now too. I used to rent a passive solar house on the south face down the road and we barely had to even heat the place.

After a quick trip down to Texas to see the family back home relaxing, gonna throw a brisket on the pit! Have a great weekend everyone.
 
Sounds excellent on the BBQ! I'm heading down to TX to visit family here in a couple of months...
 
Gonna clean up the house today, prepare for a important guest visit next week.
