Anyone have fun plans for the weekend?

I do, knives! :D I'm getting close on a ton of projects! I had another great day in the shop today.

My actual "weekend" is pretty random but I always keep it fun, right now I'm on a roll.

I think I'll take a day off here soon to make some beer, I want to make a strong ale. Most of my days off are spent checking out the area, I never run out of backroads to drive on.

What are you guys up to!

Work. I have Sunday off, so flea market ofcourse! I haven't been in a couple weeks. Also gonna play with the new camera. Still learning all the controls.

I wish I could take off and go exploring lik I used too, but I also was paid to go exploring. I miss tht work sometimes.

Analyzing data, creating a presentation, and prepping for a presentation in front of my entire (academic) department on Tuesday. But mostly refreshing this page until the the keychain tools are posted!

Working like always, but hitting a small local gun show Saturday for some gear and other non-gun (read: not as inflated) items.

And refreshing this page. ;)

Nice! The flea market will start up here pretty soon too, I always look forward to it. Lots of good stuff!

I need to do some more exploring myself, the time is hard to find! I have a book with logging trails... the next county over has 6000 miles documented and I bet it is about the same here. I want to go check out some new mines. There is a petrified forest south of here with 4' stumps still standing that I want to find too, it is out in the desert and kept secret. I did find some super rare jasper out there but have never found the source... still looking!

Job exploring? sounds cool!

Good luck with everything! I hope you do well.

I am going to sign the tools then do a few more stages of finishing so look out soon!

Nice! Local shows are always cool.

We used to do the regional rock and gem/jewelry circuit on the weekends along with all sots of local shows. That is how I got into making knives, I started off cutting stones.

Have fun!

I have lots to do this weekend, I am trying to get a few customs completed and somehow have a pile of gear to sign. Yesterday I got a ton done.. it seems everything is coming together at once. The Ti backpacker should finally come out here soon! I even have a few more CC knives on the way along with some Ti B O K's!

Yeah my exploring job was fun. It was back when I was reposessing homes. I was the guy who got all the fun work orders, like trying to find an unmarked, vacant lot, in an unincorporated area of a tiny country town way back on reclaimed logging roads. Not anything on a gps, or most maps. I would dig up county surveyors maps and the tax record to figure out exactly where the property lines were but they never showed how to get there! Sometimes, even more fun than just exploring was that I had legal rights to break into the house! I got real good, if it took me longer than 3 minutes without breaking a window that house is petty secure!

I'm cutting wood, Daniel. This batch will get us through the Winter!
Keep that Good Energi going Daniel!

Daniel,

Not sure if you've had Green Flash beer yet out of San Diego, but their tripple belgium ale is great. I hear that the Pallate Wrecker is killer too, super hoppy. Enjoy the weekend guys. Wife went back to work as a nurse and i'm on kid duty. 3 month old and sick 6 year old. Oh well, it's cold out so i'm just gonna stay in and watch the Pens play the Buffs at 12:30 PM today. Later fellas.
