Today is Christmas, at least here in Northeastern PA of the good ol' US of A and it's great to have friends and family, we must never let that be forgotten. It's sometimes amazes me that we often treat strangers better than we treat our friends or family, gotta reign that in and do some status checks now and again.
For Christmas a good Christian friend of mine sent me two knives, he loves to do that and while I never ever expect or want that he does that, he does out of kindness of our friendship, nothing outrageous, he did that once but I had to return the knife, it was just too much a gift, but these two are sweet knives, both Kershaw's one a small #1615 Centofante/Onion wharncliff with mother of pearl dots on each scale, nice and a tiger striped Blur those are really great working knives too. AND to top it off, my middle daughter, recently married, surprised me today, handed me a padded wrapped present and said 'I hope it fits' when I squeezed it it felt like socks or underwear, ugh, so I started to unwrap and unwrap and unwrap until I reached the center and found a sweet Spyderco box, a Gayle Bradley M4 folder, WOW, blown away, she picked it out all herself, her new husband who is fast becoming a knife guy too told her to wait and he'd help her as he kinda knows what I like and the knives I already have, but he was late and she dug in and decided herself, nice, very nice, it's the newer version with the cutouts in the liners for weight reduction, still extremely solid folder and SHARP out of the box too.
So today was a nice day, I'm off on holiday until Jan 2nd so I'll take advantage of the time
Here's hoping the rest of you guys and gals had as great a day as I did,
Merry Christmas,
G2
