Got my first K390 blades back from HT early this week and just got handles on one and did some finish grinding. It is very tough like M4, supposed to be similar to 10V. The first one I ground to a thin edge like I would on 3V and similar to some of my M4 I have made. Edge thickness was around .010 behind the edge. I did some light chopping on a pallet and had some edge flex. Still very sharp but with a slight deflection. I thought that at 61-62 and with toughness similar to 3V it could handle this thin edge, but I guess I went too thin. I have since reground the edge to closer to .015 and am playing to see how this holds up. I am curious if anyone else has used this steel and what kind of results have you seen. Thanks for your time.

I don't recall anybody saying that M390 was supposed to be super tough, like 3V; just that it's a very good powder stainless that should hold an edge for a long time.

Not M390 but K390. K390 is a third generation Bohler steel similar in composition to CPM 10V but with higher toughness and definitely not stainless with only 4.15% chromium.
