Have anyone ordered directly from Mike Snody himself?

I placed an order about a month ago. I've talked to Snody via e-mail back and forth for couple of times and there's no more reply from him. Does it usually take this long? Or maybe even longer? I'm pretty new in knives so I don't know. I don't mind waiting but what I'm worried about is a scam. What I did was click on the paypal girl from one of threads here posted by Snody (I believe) and paid with paypal. Can anybody let me know if this is usual? Thanks.
 
I had my share of waiting for my order but it was worth the wait!! :)

He is a very busy man who get's a lot of emails/ calls from various forums and people all over the world so ... but his knives are worth the wait and he is a trustworthy person/ man of his word. just wait and kep on it you'l be satisfied in the end:D

Tim is spot on! Also, it may help to know that Mike won't be starting up any new Fixed blade projects, so your Texas Tanto will be one of the last made for at least two years.


BTW Tim, did you get those Dashi's yet? :)

I just wanted to add for anyone reading this that I have done more than twenty deals directly with Mike Snody and he has never been anything but a man of his word and a friend.

Mike is one of the most popular custom knife makers in the world for a reason.

As soon as I get into the Snody designs and notice all of the ones that I want are extremely rare, the designer himself quits making them :grumpy:

Anyone point me in the direction of a well priced fixed blade Resistor or Ronin?

Yea bud, stuff that is very cool to own, is usually very hard to acquire. That's what makes scoring a custom Snody such an adventure. Good luck! :D

I have just done business with UltraReef the past week, I think hes Snodys top dealer? anyway, this man is an absolute professional. I am not even gonna guess I can tell by the quality of the products I received that Mr Mike Snody is the realest maker in the game. Quality pieces. I got a one of a kind BOSS and a stunna ring. Do not hesitate to get something from this maker and dealer, because they wont last "on the shelves". Cannot wait for the next snody I can get my hands on. Very pleased.
