I whent on a site this morning to order a buck 119 but i came a cross a Glock fm78 and ordered it . I don't buy knives befor i have look in to them . But i did this time have i made a mistake ? What do you think ? Ps please feel free NOT to comment on my spelling
 
It's always good to have a Glock field knife.
It may not be the best cutter, but it is nearly indestructible and you can sharpen it.

For me it would not be a mistake. For you, only you can decide. I've owed this Glock 81 for 30 years. It has been nearly everywhere I've been since then (including some faraway and exotic places) and put to hard use. It's a tough knife.

Right decision. You need to put on a proper tip and a sharp edge, and you'll have an excellent knife.
 
Probably not a mistake. I've had a Buck 119 since about 1975, so I'm prejudiced in favor of it. I have a Glock knife I won in a raffle. Stout and probably a good knife, just doesn't ring my bell like a Buck.
 
As long as you can put an edge on it. They don't come very sharp but I have used and abused mine.
 
My Glock arrived today and i like it . It's in the black finish and it came sharp and only needs a little work . And you were all right about the the tip of the blade that dose need some work . And i am not to sure about the sheath though it dose'nt feel very strong but only time will tell . I all so picked up the opinel outdoor 8 at the same time it's a grate knife . The price for both of them came to the same price as the buck 119 . I am still going to get the buck in the next couple of weeks . But no more spurr of the moment buys for me lol thanks agen for all your reasurances
