I like my PST but for some applications I would like a larger sized pair of pliers. Which Leatherman would be a good choice?

Personally I carry the new leatherman sidekick, its a smaller version of the leatherman wave. It has a pocket clip and is small enough in my opinion to EDC. But the charge would be something to look into even the supertool (or wave if you are trying to save money), from what i have heard they are fantastic tools. I have not heard much about the other new models but the way i see it, if its leatherman its quality.

That's my progression... PST was my first, liked it, but wished there were a larger version, preferably with locking blades. Discovered the Super Tool, which despite the awkward lock release routine, liked well enough to carry almost daily for the next 9 years. Eventually, seduced by its one-handed opening capability and a deal I couldn't refuse, went for a Charge TTi. Lately, retired the Super Tool in favor of its improved ST 300 version. Most recently, replaced the PST with a Rebar.

During a 16 year period, I tried and rejected several other Leathermen in the medium to large sizes, and also a few Vics. All were good quality and capable performers. Anyone who posts a preference for any of them are not wrong.

I'm not saying my selection is best for everyone, but they suit me very well.
