Check out #6627717089.
Last I looked the cigar boxes were about $50. Was this an under the radar fluke, or did the prices go down while BF was off line?

Steadily going down.. down.. down. I think people have finally realized there is a huge number of the standard OT and UH patterns still available. Or everyone that wanted one now has what they needed. Good for us as we can more cheaply finish out our collections; bad for us as our collections are worth less.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the Chitaylors in the eBay mix. Of the average 1,600 to 2,000 listings that pop up on a basic SCHRADE search, the percent of chitaylors on there seems to be increasing. And the flood of better original main line production Schrades seems to be decreasing. Like much in life, I don't look at the supply/price fluctuations on eBay as either bad or good. Just "is". I try to "cherry-pick" anyway, and most often pass if a knife goes beyond my own feeling for it's value, regardless of what the market thinks.

That said, excellent bargains still abound (depending on your particular interest), even as the higher dollar sets go begging, and sellers with too high expectations list their items with too high of a reserve. I am beginning to see some knives I passed (or lost) come back on the market. As always, fleabay is interesting!

As spring progresses into summer and lawns need mowed, the garden hoed,Little league starts, and other outdoor activities increase;ebay sales of male interest items usually take a plunge.
SMKW"s us-remakes of the old tang stamps seem to be showing up more now.
