Have there been any problems with the FRN handles on the delica cracking?

Title says all. I have one and was wondering if there is anything I should be aware of doing to accidentally break it. The FRN seems pretty weak. Thanks for your time.

Your blade will snap in half first. Its never come up that I am aware of. It could probably withstand more flex, than your blade could withstand in generating that flex.

I'm not a great fan of FRN, I prefer G-10 on my work knives, but I have to admit that despite it's lightness FRN is a damn tough material and will take insane amounts of abuse.

We've had some really cold weather up here in Canuck land lately and yesterday I was forced (repeat:FORCED) to use my FRN Endura to pry open a set of frozen doors on a toolshed and lets just say if that handle can take -30 temperatures and my 185lbs heaving on it for about 5 minutes it can handle most anything you can expect from a knife. I've got to admit I was a little surprised at how tough this stuff is.

I think Sal have said that for the Endura/Delica, the pins would likely be sheared off before the handle would break. That was the reason why the Endura/Delica would break in their testing machines.
