I've got a month or two left to work on knives, then I'm going to shut down for a couple years to finish school. Already got two other jobs, been to busy to grind anything, and I have my tools in my folks' garage, and they told me they have some plan to sell the house and move to Hong Kong for a while.

Going to have to sell my equipment within the next couple months, and probably have some materials and supplies to sell or give away too. :( I'll still be grinding for a month or two more, as time permits. Been fun, and I'll definately be grinding again within 4 years after I finish school.

For any newer guys like myself, in or around Illinois, I'm selling a set of power tools fairly cheap:

Eric :( :(

If you still have this stuff in a month and a half or so(I am coming home Dec. 18th), lemme know and we can work something out. At least want to get the grinder and drill press(assuming I have the money around then).

And on other note, sad to hear ya go. I just started recently because I only have 7 mo. of school left. Know completely what you mean about lack of time though, I seem to get a good amount of grinding in every other week if I'm lucky.

ETP,
That would be ideal time for me to sell it. Would be glad to work out a deal for that equipment. Would you like me to hold it for you? Give me an e-mail if you're very interested in it. I'd like to see this equipment get a new home. BTW, where are you from?

I sure hope to start seeing your knives out there in a couple years Eric! You came so far in a very short time and I know you have the natural talent and the personal drive to be as good a knifemaker as you want to be! God Bless!!!

Yo Eric!

Sorry to hear that man! Your knives really are getting better and better. Do take the time to draw knives during your sebaticle. I bet that will keep the juices flowing.

Chang,
I'm BUMMED.:(
I've been watching you and Taz since ya'll started making and have been fairly amazed at how far ya'll have come in such a relatively short time.
I'm sincerely hoping your studies go well and you'll be back to making soon. Your work always brings a smile to my face when I see a picture posted here.

BTW,
Don't be surprised if you get withdrawal symptoms for awhile.:p
Dang, I'm starting to miss those Changbenzas already.

All the best,
Mike U.
