Just arrived today from the custom shop and I am stoked. Now I have to decide if I want kydex or leather pants. The extra weight and girth of the new slabs really changed the balance. This feels great in the hand. Fit and finish are awesome. Garth NAILED IT all from a sketch. I plan on using her on my fishing trip to Big Shore in 2 weeks. I threw in a BK16 for scale. Thanks Garth this came out great.

Nice. I never fished in the surf but.I have been from San jose island to baffin. Really enjoy that place.
 
I SO....wanna copy that!!!! That orange is my favorite! I would like to get a knife with those handles soon... Great knife bud!
 
Nice upgrade, I just sent in a meaner and SAR5 for a little fluff and puff.
I can't wait to see what he does with them.

That looks FANTASTIC! The thickness of handles has been my only complaint against my Busse-kin blades, and a very small complaint at that. It is great to know that this can be done. If you are allowed would you post the rough cost?
 
Don't think I can post cost. This is surprisingly affordable and well worth it. I would recommend having one done.
 
That looks awesome! Orange is just the best color and it looks so freaking comfortable. I had asked the custom shop about doing handles like that and they never got back to me :/ At least I know they can do some great work ;)
