Have you ever sold or traded a knife and later wanted that same make

and model knife back again did the same thing in reverse to get that

same model knife back again.....you missed having it right.

Lets hear about how you got that same knife back again....I'll go first.

I had 4 new shocks put on my truck about 1.5 years ago. My friend/

mechanic took my Chinook 3 plus $50 to cover the labor end of the bill.

It took my friend longer than he planned to put the 4 shocks on thou...

5 hours. I didn't miss my Chinook until about 3-4 months ago.... they're

discontinued now thou.

I bought one on the fs ads yesterday. I had a hard time finding one....

I checked with my friend I sold it to first....he Couldn't Find it.

I had sold a Microtech Troodon with a two-tone plain edge tanto blade a few years back and I always regretted it because I loved the look of the knife and it was the first MT OTF that I had ever purchased. About a year and a half later I was able to buy the same exact knife (same date and serial number) from the guy who bought it off the guy I sold it to. I even got it for a little less than what I originally sold it for.

ZT 0200 - when I first got one, I thought it was too big. Had to get it back after a couple of months. Now I own 2 and it's my favorite knife.

Paramilitary digicam - s/o looking to pick one up on a trade that i thought would be a good trade. It wasn't and I had to get it back after a couple of months. Bought one off e-bay I think.

Benchmade 210 Activator - don't remember the thought process on selling it. Something to do w/ liking my Bravo 1 more. Had to get it back after a couple of months and traded a couple of decent knives for one.

Cold Steel Trailmaster - don't recall why I let mine go. Had to get it back after a couple of months. Finally found s/o selling one here and snapped it up.

I think that covers it. I'm not a smart man.

Sort of. I had a Bark River STS-3. I really liked the blade geometry. It was sharp, and a real cutter. But, there were too many details that I did not like. Black coating, handle was too sharp around the lanyard hole, and the sheath was sub-par, and scratched the blade, everytime it went in or out.
I'd like to have a very similar blade, with some changes. Maybe in CPMS35VN, no coating, longer handle that covers the lanyard hole, and a leather sheath.

I sold my Woodard Fer Lance to a friend. I missed it, so I picked up another on eBay. Then I came across another on eBay for a ridiculously low price, so I got that one too. Eventually sold both again.

I've bought and traded away 4 Paramilitary 1's. I missed carrying a Para so I bought the Para2 since it was cheaper. It's not the same. Next knife will probably be another original Paramilitary.

I've done it with Spyderco Endura Waves and Paramilitaries. But the knife I miss the most was my Darrel Ralph 3" Madd Maxx III:

So I recently ordered another one. These things are hard to get a hold of:
