bought a knife and just ended up putting it in a drawer until one day you came across it looking for something else?

I bought a Halloran SEAX almost 2 years ago. I planned on using the knife around the house as well as outdoors. After it came in I wasn't sure I was going to keep it and even put it up for sale a few but it never sold so back in the drawer it went.

I came across it earlier today and pulled it out. I had some cutting chores in the backyard and figured I'dgive it a try. Wow, not sure why I never used it to begin with?? It's awesome. I've been using it all day inside and out. It cuts like a champ and you don't even know your carrying it.

It will definitely be put to good use from here on out.

How about any of u guys out there? Have u ever had a similar experience? It would be cool to see a pic or two as week. I'll post a few of the SEAX later on tonite:)

I have a Tops Smoke Jumper that I lusted after for years and finally bought.

I used it a few times to baton as I was interested in its purpose built tip.

I decided to go a different way but love the design of the knife. I have tried to sell it but no takers. Every few months it pops up in a drawer and I smile a bit.

i bought a Chris Reeve green beret. i got a pretty good deal for it because the blade had a couple nicks and scratches in the finish. i have never carried it and nobody wants to buy it for a reasonable price. i think I'm going to turn it into a beater soon.

I have never forgotten about it. It just sits in a safe all day. I tried to sell it, but nobody seemed interested, or they wanted to offer me trades that were far from balanced. So in the safe it sits. Waiting for its turn to be used.
