Have you guys seen this?

Wow. Errr...hmmm. Won't *that* be interesting.

Big question is, who's gonna buy it? Knifeforums, that is...Gunforums isn't really a hot property.

Hey...somebody ask 'im what he wants. We could take up a collection and merge the two back together again! Hmmmm...that's not as crazy as it sounds. Any guesses as to what he's got tied up in there?

Lemme think...I don't think any of the other Mad Dog dealers are big enough to support it, no offense Tim. Maybe a big Microtech dealer? I don't run in those circles, does anyone know one with potential?

You know...Knifeart might dig the idea, or maybe...hey, Arizona Custom Knives? I forgot about them, they're Doggites on a small scale. Dunno if they're into MT. One of the things that will be controversial with anyone else is that "elite password-only MT forum" - I for one can understand why they did it but...it is controversial. MT might maintain the whole site just to make sure that stays.

This is gonna get strange.

Jim

When you compare the amount of members and posts here at BladeForums.com, it was just a matter of time. At times, they did have some good discussions going on.

Damn.....that is a shame!
I am saddened to see Earl in this position. KFC contributed heaps to the industry over the past couple of years.
The fact that I became unwelcome on the forums is not relevant....I have been a sole parent and I understand the demands that this makes on someone (mother OR father)and how it can impact on one's lifestyle. Lotsa luck, Earl.
Maybe you will join us here when things settle down and you cease to be a "competitor"......never really understood how the forums became "competitors", anyway.

Dunno what the odds are of Earl's reading this is....

but the sentiments are real.
So, there you go

Jim,

If Jay's around here with a moniker it's unknown to me.

So, I've always kind've assumed he thought it over and decided to pass.

Yeah I'm crazy, but what do you want me to do about it

It is a shame. I am having trouble accessing the site directly. I am glad I compiled the Sebenza FAQ when I did.

You're right James. I can't access any of the forums directly. I don't have any bookmarked so I can't sneek in either.

I had no problem accessing www.knifeforums.com or any of the several forums there that I regularly visit.

I wish Earl well. Hope someone with a long term interest in the industry buys it.

Wow.

That is sort of an unceremonious way to go out, selling yourself in your own for sale forum.

I was able to access it about a half hour later but it was slow. Maybe they were performing regular maintenance.

So what does this have to do with Kentucky Fried Chicken? They're a competitor, you know
