Been thinking of getting one but I needed a medium one of late as I got a few larger blades. 3 are OKC well 4 when I get the replacement SP-53.

about one year ago , i have brought one , definetly a good chopper for the size :thumbup:

i give it to one of my friends as gift , maybe i will buy another one adding my collctions , but i heard that the knife was out of production .

SP-51 great for chopping and batoning and they don't make them any more so it maybe wise to get one. I got two and its the main camp wood splitter. From most things the SP-53 is the better chopper I've seen. I like the straight blade for batoning, but can't wait till my SP-53 "adventure" is over.

My SP-10 is the beater blade and does lots of work also, my brother threatens to steal it.
