I haven't bought a balisong for a little while now, but I'm sure alot of you have.

If you have something unique or special I'd appreciate a picture. (It might just be special since its yours, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.)

Do you mean "new to you" or "newly made"?

So far, unless it's a custom bali, then I don't know of any "new" balis except 42s.

I DID purchase a custom bali, but it's still being fabricated.
I will post pictures before I screw it all up by flipping.

I have a feeling you guys will be amazed!!

Hopefully sometime next week (or the week after) I'll have a Bali-Song to show off to all of you. It'll be a first for me

Those of you who read a certain forum probably already know what it is

Funny you should ask... I just put one in the Gallery Forum yesterday. It's more of an art shot, but you might like the balisong too.

Actually now that I think about it you haven't been around for a long tome ChungSan. In February I got a BM 45SHD (a BM 45S with HARLEY-DAVIDSON inked on the blade). For some reason I just can't tighten it though....I have tried many times and I do know what to do, it's just not working.

BTW, what ever happened with that deal of all those Bali-Songs ChungSan??

I'm thinking of dropping the website. Benchmade will not give me an account after telling me twice that they would. The rest of the knives are just pretty much nickel and dime stuff.

I'm pretty busy running a full time martial arts school.

If you see anything on the site in or out of stock I can get it for you in two weeks.(except the 42's of course)

Gollnick, Nice art picture by the way.

I dont have anything really new YET. But I do have a custom rainbow BM42, a BM42A, and later a 12" bladed Bali sword. Those are so hard to find(

Here's a scan of my 45SHD blade and a 42 blade. Pictures courtesy of mmtmatrix since my scanner is happy:

Picked up one at the Oregon show. There was a gentleman there (with a very long beard) who had quite a selection of balis for sale. The ones I really wanted were out of my price range. One looked like a 42, re-fit with a damascus blade. He also had a couple made by Mr. Bugtai with mother of pearl inserts (beautiful!). I got to flip every knife I asked to see, including a Jody Samson custom tanto with black inserts (sooo nice, but I couldn't see spending $750 for it).

I ended up with a brass bowie with plenty of "patina" on the handles. Maker unknown, but it says "440 Stainless Japan." It's very blade-heavy, but the action is nice and smooth, and it locks up nice and tight in the open position.

No picture yet. Haven't figured out what's wrong with my scanner.

Are the handles skelotonized or anything?

I just love when little packages arrive in the mail...

I didn't know that some were factory double edged, My other one isn't, but this one sure is. I'm afraid that I don't know how it flips, it's almost too nice to try to destroy.

I may pick up a new jag and filework it for my bali-flipping girlfriend. She lost the last one that I gave to her

Well, my parents just came back from a week in southern France (10 minutes ago), and my dad gave me 5 new bali's!
I asked him to look/ask around for PC, Balisong USA and Benchmade balisong, but no one seemed to know/have them...
He bought me 2 of the slim China Cheapies (one totally black, the other one with camouflage scales), 1 chrome wave handled CC, and one with the same blade but painted handles with countersunk holes, and a Herbertz Jag look-a-like.

I would like to get my hands on a heavy brass skelotonized balisong.
