Have you seen one before? Knife stamped 'CrafTech' (stylized) and '005'

It looks to be an integral and well made.....definitely 20+ years old, probably more.

I enjoy the lines of the knife and I'm sure it'd work well for its intended purpose....it shore ain't no Hunter. [emoji6]
 
Personally I don't think it was from the 1950's but later than that, more like the 1970's or so.

Stainless steel was not available in the '50's like it is now and the Knifemakers, like Gil Hibben, Loveless, and the likes, would forge stainless rounds flat to make their knives.

Cheatham was the first I know of to make 'chipped flint' style knives and this one is kind of like that.
