Very cool hawk. 3/8" 1075 steel, differential hardened. Looks like everything you need in a survival hawk. Wish I could check it out in person.

While I appreciate the traditional hickory handle, I would really prefer an integral design like that tomahawk, or something similar like the New Generation from ATC.

The cord wrap on the handles looks interesting for high impact work. I could tolerate that on the Strider PAB if my hands were at full strength, for a survival tool though working with it at less than full capacity (fatigue, cramps) did cause me to rethink it a little.
