I haven't, but I want to. I only hesitate because what if it spurs on a buying spree!

I've seen some of it, I got distracted with school and never got around to finishing the other half.

If my memory serves me right, it is a rather outdated video, and the recent ones from BladeHQ show a much better shop (didn't CRK move to a new shop?) with much upgraded machinery. It is also in HD!

Also, I am like 99% sure that anytime anyone watches something CRK related they end up another CRK buying spree!!

I have seen it and liked it alot. I think every CRK owner should see it at least once. It shows what goes into these knives. Some do not like the format-sort of infomercial, but I think it was done to appeal to a wider audience(not CRK's choice anyway). Nice to put at least a few faces with the names.

I don't consider the "The Exquisite Blade" an informercial, it's more of a mini documentary about the Man and his vision. You get a chance to see what goes on at the shop, how it all started, what projects he's working on and the natural beauty of Idaho. The set is in to parts (each DVD being one part), one part talks about the the fixed blade aspect of the business (it's outdated cuz there's no more one piece fixed blade) and the other about the Sebenza. You get a chance to meet his family, his friends and also his passion for motorcycles. I enjoyed the DVD Very Much and Appreciate Mr. Reeves Sharing his life with Us.

First I've heard of it. I just looked on Youtube, and didn't find it.

Where can you see it at ?

It's a little idiosyncratic or maybe just reflects the perspective of a different country's knife culture (which is great - different is not bad, at least in this case), but it's a valuable chance to see the folks at CRK making their/our knives.

Yep I've got the DVD. I got Anne to send me a copy when I sent a one piece knife in for refurb. The girl who did it is a little random but her enthusiasm helps it work. The fact that it covers so much, the history, current range (now out of date), family, a glimpse of Idahoe, Chris's philosophy if you get the chance watch it or better still get a copy........ TBH if there's nothing that appeals in a 3hr CRK film your on the wrong site!
For me its fantastic, so many early South African made knives.

Do it Lisa, you wont regret it! ;)

I actually bought a copy of the DVD.

It will definitely whet your appetite for more CRK knives.

Here are parts 1 and 2 of the video we did with Chris Reeve showing his shop, process and talking about some of the philosophy behind the knife. The videos turned out really well and Chris was pleased with them.

i watched it and like others have said, definitely worth it. It has a bit more personal feel to it, and the gallery extras of those rare birds is amazing.

It'd be great to have a vol.2 come out now with the seb 25 and some of the other offerings that have happened.

I should clarify my infomercial comment. I am not refering to the CRK content, but it was the feeling I got from the spokeswoman's enthusiasim-maybe over enthusiasim

I plan to buy it eventually and watch it, Each time I get close to buying it I think, hmmmm that money could go towards a knife.

I agree. An absolutley outstanding vid(s). A well executed and needed update to the DVD. Thank you so much BHQ!

I saw it when Dallas did his pass around a few years ago. It was a great idea he had to share his copy since you could not buy one at the time.
Chris Reeve and his employees bring new meaning to a quality product made in the USA.

I'll have to be honest and say that this is what made the video nearly unwatchable for me. The actual content is great and you see everything you wanted to and more but it is not presented in a manner I found particularly consumable. I happen to know some of the folks from "knife&life" and have nothng aginst them but in my brutaly honest opinion the CRK vid was a miss.
