Have your Busse Carry Habits Changed since 9/11 ?

Subject line pretty much says it all. To answer my own question.

My carry habits have changed, I still carry my same Busse EDC which is my AS. However, I now have at least one more bigger blade close by and sometimes more than one.(BA, NO)

I don't do this for self-defense but rather just because you never know what you might encounter. Especially knowing that you may need to do more than cut with your knife(ie prying,digging) I feel much more secure having a Busse.

So how about you??

Since I live in earthquake country, I keep a bug out pack in the car with an Ontario Spec 1 (I think). If the pack got stolen, no great lost. I would feel better with a SH-E though. I need to get another SH-E to go with the pack. 911 did not change anything for me for the above reason in addition to the LA riots.

DWMS and AfterShock....(there is usually a BB SHII in the car)

More ammo, camo, dried foods, vac pack water, did I say more ammo?

Also geared up from .223 to a .308

And before every one thinks I'm nuts....my daily drive to work and back was 217 miles into the suburbs of Chicago.

Mine hasn't. I've long carried my DWMS in a tool bag in my car along with a handful of basic tools to fix/cobble together a wide variety of common chores. Since I use the basic stuff in the bag so often, the DWMS sees quite a bit of use as well.

I have just about always been prepared oriented in my mindset and daily approach. The only that 9-11 has really changed my knive carrying is that increased security (or appearances thereof) prevent me from simple things like having a SAK in a government building or on a plane. So, in csome respects, I am less prepared now then pre 9-11

Since my Variant came,
my 9.5"-bladed Missy BoJo don't leave my side more than two feet away at any given time... Yes, my wife thinks i'm nuts, but "only the paranoid will survive." And "Only the Prepared will survive."
And i DON'T go into any "government buildings" if i don't have to!!!

That's the only one i'll admit to carrying on a public forum! Ha!
