Had this pop up in my FB Memories that brought back a lot of cool memories, chats and phone calls with amazing Busse friends, best ever.

So, no Busse yet? but you really feel you have to hold one? This is "The Busse" you need to avoid if you're doubting.
Here's my honest, from experience, advice. I didn't listen, and I bought this particular Busse and damn....they were right.
7 years ago, took a shot, met a super cool Busse Bud online who would sell to me. It's nothing to do with the model, the options, nothing like that. I could've used any one of 35+ Busses as this example, but this is the one you better be serious what you're doing.... It's that "First One" that isn't for everyone ~
You know how to make any Busse owner laugh? Tell him "I only want one" ... HAHAHA....

I joined BF this Feb and never heard of Busse previously. My initial observation seeing some of the models in pictures on the forum was ... WTF would I ever do with something like that? After a few weeks of admiring pictures of Busse knives ... all that bacon grew on me. I placed my order for a Beating Heart and it arrived April 15th. After unboxing it and holding it in my hand - I got a :poop:-eating grin on my face and a partial woody. :oops: I couldn't have asked for a better knife to pop my combat knife 🍒! Since then, I've acquired 15 more, from Busse and awesome members of this forum. My wife still thinks I am nuts but I don't want her touching them because she may just get the itch too.

Be forewarned to those wanting one ... when Jerry announces up-coming runs on new models - it'll have you scrambling for extra 💲. Hopefully it doesn't entail you finding yourself covertly fighting for space on a street-corner with the "locals" 💃 to get it.

This is SOOO true! The FOMO is real! Then the eventual regret when you realize you can't buy them all!

No other brand has grown on me as much as they have. SYKCO was my gateway drug and I've been hopelessly addicted since. Heck, I just got another one yesterday! 😂

The Infidu I purchased a couple days ago from a BF member should be here any day now! 😁 Knife collecting is addicting ... so many different styles to choose from and I get in my phases for each. if I keep this rate up I will surpass the value of my gun collection within a year.
 
Nice! I was eyeballing that one for some time since the first time it went up maybe a month or so ago. Pretty sure I still want to get an Infidu but for now I'm scratching the itch with the Mega Ratmandu and it's big brother (in my eyes) the Mega Ratweiler which is the one that just came in yesterday. Got them both from two great members here.

I'll have to also throw in a pic of my other two recent (in the past couple months) favorite Busse acquisitions, a choiless Boss Jack and a Ban Tang modified Boss Jack Proto w/bowie grind. Also from a couple great members here.

The Boss Jack became one of my favorite models when I got my first one a little over a year ago, another nice Ban Tang modified proto. Ended up selling it to another member here (you know who you are! Don't forget me bro if she ever leaves your stable!) when I was saving for another, yep, you guessed it, another upcoming Busse release, the MOAB.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't regret selling that BJ but I'm very glad to have a MOAB as I never thought I'd end up with one. I'm still surprised it was released a 2nd time but am exceedingly glad it was! I do love the large choppers and that one is a king in the world of choppers!
