I've had this blade for a little over a year now, and I absolutely LOVE:thumbup: it. But lately I have been noticing the blade centering is off by just enough to make the blade scrape against the inside of the handle. Is there any way to fix this? Or is it because of the frame lock pushing on the blade and therefore is un-fixable?

You *should* be able to fiddle with the pivot screw tention to at least get it back within reasonable tolerance. On the forums here it seems a knife is a POS to some if the blade is not centered to within microns. If you get it so it's not making side contact, you're fine.

Yeah tighten the pivot screw a bit and loctite it so it can't back out again.

I have fiddled with the screw A LOT. I have tightened it to the point of disabling operation, and I have losened it to the point of the screw sliding back and forth. And everything in between. It could be that it's just a design flaw. The only reason I asked is because the DLC coating is starting to wear on the blade a bit where it rubs. Thanks anyway.

The proper setting is in there, you just have to find it. Most people are impatient and never find it because they move the screw too far either way. If you've opened/closed it hard or repeatedly, failed to clean and lube properly, you could have something in there or have worn the bushing past tolerance. The idea that it is a design flaw is laughable.
At any rate kershaw has one of the best customer service dept's in the business. Give then a call or email and they will probably fix you up.
