Nice work! How do they feel? Grippy/slick/combo? I really like the colors and the nice clean lines. They go great with that Kimber. I've got a series II Kimber Pro Carry that would love to slip into a nice set of slacks like that

They look like they would be slick because they are smooth, but they are not. I even wet my hands and were still grippy. I had made some out of canvas micarta once, these are just as grippy. There are some neat color combos available in G10.

Good luck on your prep course. They are offering it at the gun club by me too, but I decided to hold off untill I see what the actual restrictions are that Illinois is going to screw us with.

The class I am taking is an NRA sponsored class that takes into account all the requirements of either of the 2 current bills in consideration.
All I will need is fingerprints and however much money Illinois decides to stick us with.

Now that sounds good, let me know how it goes. I just drove past the club near us, and read the sign more carefully. It says pre registration for classes. As for those Astra grips, all I would need are the grips, and a few measurements of the parts the screws go in, and diameter of the screw heads. Don`t need the gun.
