Had a small piece of steel, so I thought I would make something useful out of it.

This is a dedicated fire making tool, the right side chisel ground edge is perfect for making wood shavings and scraping, while the spine throws sparks like crazy! I think I`ll name it "Sparky."
What do you guys think, should I offer them? $32 shipped, or $25 if shipped with another order?

Don't know, I can't see any dimensions on those. Sparky is 3 3/4" x 3/4".

Sparky - nice!

Would be cool with a little fire-started rod with a micarta handle made from scraps (if there is such a thing) and a little kydex sheath to hold them.

best

Yeah, that will work nicely.

Like the idea of it with the fire steel in a small pouch, altoids tin kit to fit in the front pocket osmsome sheaths or in a pocket of cargo pants or pack. Call it the Sparky kit. Anyway to include a char cloth or a sharpening rod?
