I kept telling myself I was not going to get another knife right now.
Well... I got my order in at 08/23/2006 23:56:00 EDT, and around 3 1/2 minutes before midnight I began to PANIC:eek:

I spent most of the night and morning trying to figure out how I was going to either tell my wife, or how I could hide the knife.

I called the shop to see around when my CC would get hit and the knife would ship out. Kendra told me it would be around 8-12 weeks before shipment and the CC would be billed about ten days prior to shipping.

Thank goodness! That means I did not just buy another knife "NOW" like I planned.:D

There is plenty of time to come up with a little extra cash, and / or a good excuse. NO REGRETS!!

P.S. Kendra said that I was not the first person she spoke to today who said that having to wait means that I can stay married!:)

Maybe I could get an LE to go with the cgFSH for a Christmas present and just tell my wife that I saved her all the trouble of trying to find me something! (I love her that much!):thumbup:
 
I am also in the same boat but my girl will understand especially with only 460 on the credit card and the other 700 comin outa pocket what g/f wouldnt understand;)

I'll second that. Although there are benefits to being married, I do not recall enough of them to make me take the leap again. Besides, it will be hard enough to hide 20 FBM's from my girlfriend....:D
 
2000 wow lol I am only in for 500 and when my card gets charged well then I'll be up around 1500. But lol thats not till september:rolleyes:

I am in exactly the same boat as you are. And with the LE last nite, thats almost 3k! :eek: Hmmmm maybe I should give the mailman a drink or two to make sure he hands me my CC bill personally when the time comes :p
 
Bought an LE and a CG yesterday.

Bought two GWs today.

You're preaching to the choir here.
 
I just got off the phone from Busse (changed my order).
I was told more like 12-18wk untill shipment.
Looks like it will be my Christmas present to me. (more time to save the money)

Are all hogs eating top ramen this year? I can't believe how much dough you guys spend on busse knives. I wish I could afford more than a cg fbm, but i got bills. I am glad they are shipping out later or my credit card might bounce.
