Hey Good People,
I have had my Swamp Warden now for a few months and absolutely love it. The problem I am having now though is getting a good edge on it using my sharpmaker. I have NEVER had this problem using this sharpening system and feel like a real knuckle head. Any advice or help would be appreciated, thanks.

Double check the angles. Is it possible you're hitting the blade coating instead of the very edge? Swamp Wardens get scary sharp although I've never used a sharpmaker, just a DMT diafold fine.

Hoopster, you are a genius. So used to 30 degrees and never hat to sharpen it before and didn't have a good feel for how it would sharpen. PROBLEM SOLVED

More like a good guesser. That's how I did so well on multiple choice exams. :D
Glad it's working out for you. I keep hearing good things about the sharpmakers I might try to pick one up someday.

If you get one I recommend getting all the files available with it. It comes with a fine and I think either medium or course, but there are a few others available that really helps with a great edge.
