Having trouble posting links

What the hell am I doing wrong!?

Well, it's been going on for a while and it's pissing me off.

Almost all the time when I post and I try to post a link, I do that "Insert Hyperlink" thing. I fill out both thingies and when I push ok, the forumie text language thing is put here for a half second then everything I've posted gets deleted. Sometimes I can press the "back" button on my browser and I'll get my post back but most times it is completely gone. I have to copy my post before putting the link, then trying multiple times before success.

It is very depressing when I make a lengthy post for some newb. looking for advice and I try to put in a link, then have to start all over, skipping stuff.

I bet you're running a popup blocker that kills every small window that pops up unless you tell it that one isn't an ad. Put www.bladeforums.com in your trusted zone. (Don't worry, we don't have any popup ads.)

If that doesn't fix it there are a couple of other ways to post a link. If the url starts out with either "http://" or "www" just type or paste it in where you type or paste your message. The software will automatically make it into a link.

Or, type in the url /url code yourself. That's all the "insert hyperlink" button does; you can do the same thing manually.
