Having trouble with move to gold membership

Hi Spark,

I recently received a reminder that my gold membership was due for renewal. I paid the subscription fee and have gone to change my user group, but I'm getting this message: "There are currently no public usergroups available for you to join".

I've double checked with the bank, and the transfer went through on 5 December. I'm still showing as a registered user and can't seem to change my settings. Am I doing something wrong?

International payments and paypal payments must be entered into the system manually by Spark.
This can take up to 72 hrs to accomplish as stated when you purchased your membership. Sometimes it can take a little longer depending on circumstances. In addition to this site, Spark also runs a business and has a family to attend to.
Please be patient and i'm sure he will get to you as soon as he's able!
 
FYI- I have never had my membership changed anywhere near the 72 hours, a week seems average, and I'm past that after today. It is frustrating, but worth it in the end- I'm just glad I don't sell here and was trying to make some extra Christmas cash or I would be more concerned.
