No pic. Hurry up and fix it, since your description left me drooling! :)

ahhhhhhhhh. pic please!!!!

Edited to add: I copied and pasted the url into a browser -- don't worry about it Danbo, you wouldn't like it. :D

I have no idea why that picture didn't work. It doesn't work for me either.

It sure is a great looking bowie.

A big honkin' bowie - my favorite kinda knife. This one looks to be very nicely done.

Cheers,

Roger

Great looking knife Matt. It looks quick, blanced and has great flow. The wood looks very nice too. How did you finish it?

Curly Koa is an excellent piece of wood. I have a Mayo with the same material and the effect is great! Everyone who sees the handle thinks it's some sort of fiber glass because it's natural stripe patterns looks 3D and natural wood don't give out that sort of effects. But nature sure have some tricks up it's sleeve!:D

thanks fellas, the blade is hand sanded to 600, handle taken to 600 then 0000 steel wool. Filled the handle poures/grain with a spray on type finish that is then sanded off, just use it to fill. Use the standard oil/wax combo for a final finish. Its not too shiney, more of a satin type finish etc.....

God willing and the creek dont rise i will be getting some more knives made:rolleyes:

I've got a Hammer Custom Guitar with matched bookend curly koa top... Man... that would look great next to it! I love the handle style - to me that style makes more sense for lots of use!

edit for spelling...

Matt, another beautiful piece. I am going to have to get a knife from you one of these days.

Looks really quick and flowing. I love the lines on that one. Is it my imagination or are you becoming one of the very recognisable contemporary Bowie makers. Your Bowies have a distinctive style to them... Jason.
