Hi Andy,
I was wondering if you have any future plans to put together some seminars on CQC tatics with the Tomahawks, similar to what you had started in the past?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve Zorn

Yes, there are...we have had recent discussions with Mike Gillette of Law Enforcement Training fame regarding this issue, as well as the SAYOC Kali organization (who is exploring Tomahawk segments to their edged curriculum.) Additionally, Kelly Worden of Natural Spirit has been using our Tomahawk trainers in his work with 1SFG...all of this to say that there is stuff on the horizon and as it gets more into focus in terms of training being ATC administered or ATC referred, we will share it here.

Thanks,

Thanks Andy,
I know Mr. Mike Gillette and in fact recently attended a defensive pistol course he conducted. He is a great guy and excellent instructor. Regardless of who you have offering the programs I am highly interested and look forward to such programs.

Thanks again,
Steve Zorn

We too are very impressed with Mr. Gillette's credentials and experience...he fits a specialized niche for us in terms of tactical training with the Tomahawk and our discussions have been to that end.

Expect to hear more about him from us...

I should also add that we have some tentative plans to introduce some folks in a CQC capacity who will soon be home from Iraq, after carrying their Hawks daily in that environment...should make for some VERY good training.

It's been at least 5 days now......Has this thread shown enough interest to get the CQB scheduled or do we need to get our Martial Arts instructors involved.....
Thanks,
Steve
(Don't have one now but I know some kids (younger than 50) who would definitly be interested....

Dwight McLemore is the man to go to for Hawk training if you live anywhere near Norfolk Virginia. I went to a seminar he did back in November and it was incredible.

Andy!!

We need training!! Please!!!!

Its one thing to have a hawk with a vague idea of how to use it.

It's entirely another to be confident & capable of putting it to lethal use.
